A journey to Johann Sebastian Bach
Day 1 Eisenach:
Tour of the town including a visit to Bach’s House on
Frauenplan Square and the church of St.George.
Day 2 Weimar and Arnstadt:
Guided tour to the places where Bach worked (castle, St. Peter
and Paul’s). Drive to Arnstadt and visit the Bach Memorial,
the church of St. Thomas and the historical cemetery.
Day 3 Leipzig:
Tour of Leipzig including a visit to the church of St. Thomas (Bach’s
grave) and the Bach Museum in the Bose House.
Day 4 Halle and Köthen:
Short tour of Halle incl. a visit to the Church of St. Mary. Then
drive to the castle in Köthen where Bach served as the director
of music at the court.
Day 5 Journey home/Further programmes.
