Saxony's castles, palaces and parks
Day 1 - Sightseeing tour through Leipzig
with a visit to the Thomaschurch. Overnightstay.
Day 2 - After the breakfast
you are going to Colditz, a small medieval town with a famous castle.
During a guided tour of the castle you'll lern interesting facts about
the "Colditz-Story". The "Wechselburg", the viaduct
Göhren and the Rochsburg (alternative "Rober Knight Castle")
on your way to Chemnitz you will pass along. Stay for two nights in
a good middle-class-hotel.
Day 3 - Sightseeing-tour in Chemnitz.
On tour to Augustusburg, one of the most famous renaissance castles
in germany. The tour continues along the small river of "Zschopau"
via the castle Wildeck and Scharfenstein to Annaberg, with its beautiful
Annenchurch.
Day 4 - Guided walk round gothic famous church.
The tour continues to Dresden. You stay here for three nights in
a good middle-class-hotel.
Day 5 - Tour via the first garden town of Germany "Hellerau"
to Moritzburg. You will visit the baroque hunting lodge. Then on to
the 1000 years old town "Meißen" with a visit in the
Albrechtsburg castle.
Day 6 - Tour along the river Elbe,
via the Elbe-castles to the Pillnitz Palace. You continue to the Basteicliff.
Then you are going via the small town Hohnstein, with its robber knight
castle. Small walk around the baroque garden "Großsedlitz".
Day 8 - Breakfast in hotel/Journey home or Further programmes.
